About
Kubis Aviation College is a private aviation training college headquartered at Plot 27 Mirza Road in Katabi, Entebbe, about five kilometres from Entebbe International Airport. It trains under the motto "Learn & Fly", is approved by the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority as an Approved Training Organisation (ATO No. UG/CAA/ATO/040) and is an IATA training partner.
The aviation department runs programmes in aviation fundamentals, flight operations and dispatch, cabin crew, passenger ground service, reservations and air ticketing, aviation security, air cargo, travel and tourism, and airline customer care. IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations courses and short courses in safety management systems, quality management systems and English language proficiency are also offered.
A separate two-year TVET department awards National Certificates and Diplomas in clearing and forwarding, tourism, tour guiding, computer science and business administration, examined and certified by UVTAB.
Intakes run four times a year (January, March, May and September) and breakfast and lunch are provided. Kubis also has offices in Kampala, Mbarara and Lira.
